JOB FAIR -UTTER DESPAIR!!!!!

The angst and agony just does n seem to have deserted me yet.That justifies me penning it a day later.No its not some kind of a relationship breakdown,nor an utterly disappointing flick.but strangely it was this job fair,(don know who coined that term for this utterly insane event ) that i woefully chose to attend in a nondescript college called Dhaanesh Ahmed in an equally nondescript place far out of the saner city limits amidst thick jungles.

Thankfully i had some wonderful friends who took me in a bike. but on the flip side it was this kind generosity that made me go there n tested my endurance.Equally ironical was the fact that we chose among all days this occasion to be punctual!!!(in accordance with murphys law i guess!!!)

So we reached there by 9 AM and were greeted by a loooong (don know how many 0's ll suffice) spiralling queue of faces that mirrored anxiety n anticipation.We were made to mercilessly stand under the scorching sun outside the gates for about two hours,this was inspite of the fact that there was ample space inside.Thankfully the rain gods spared us !!!Then we were allowed inside in the most haphazard manner ever possible. With all students makin a beeline for the entry , it was literally the survival of the fittest .Unfortunately i m not one among those macho bods around.!!!Then there was another literal carnage for the company chits ,which u need to have to write the tests. Though this rule was relaxed when they ran out of it.

After this epic struggle which would have made stalwarts like Gandhi and King proud, the test was a damp squib.Only quants n they claimed that the results would be mailed to us.the only consolation was a wonderful lunch with my wonderful friends and a new acquaintance.(guess that desrves a separate post)!!!!Yes it was a girl and unfortunately it din happen there.. So it was an utterly useless Saturday.

So the next time u come across a job fair ad, be wary of all these and please go thru blogs like these and decide well before embarking on ur journey ....VAZHGA AND VALARGA CAMPUS RECRUITMENT!!!!!
